A modern, sleek, and sophisticated logo for a Detroit based law firm, where the negative space of the letter A becomes the primary focal point for the identity.
321 SLEEP // 2010
This identity was created for 321 Sleep, a Windsor based mattress company. I used the number 3 to create the moon icon (as the moon is often associated with sleep).
MISHA BARONE // 2009
Proposed logo for Chicago based fashion designer, Misha Barone. I wanted to create something that would read easily on a tag, as a pattern, or as a die-cut shape hanging off a purse, so i intertwined her initials M and B to give it a distinct shape.
TRUE NORTH // 2010
True North Conscious Construction is an enviornmentally friendly construction company. I wanted the logo to relate to 'True North' and direction. Keeping this in mind, i created a navigation like symbol that also doubles as the 'North' star.
GREEN ZONE PIZZA // 2011
Green Zone Pizza is an organic and eco-friendly pizzeria. What makes their pizzas unique are their oval shapes, hence the oval logo. While creating the identity i was also being mindful of the owner's Swiss heritage. Keeping with the Swiss tradition, i created a design that is modern, classic, and minimalistic, while also incorporating a small Swiss cross reflecting the cultural symbolism.
CYM CAMP - KOZAK THEME // 2010
The Ukrainian Youth Association needed a logo for their Kozak themed camp. Fyi: kozaks were guerilla style warriors that fought for Ukraine's independance, and they were often charecterized by their disctintive handle-bar mustaches and shaving their heads leaving an 'oseledetz' (a genie-like pony tail).
DEMF // 2009
Identity created for the detroit electronic music festival. Using a script "10" (for the 10th anniversary) contrasts against the very structural words, gives 'movement'.
